A Case of Lipoma in Lower Lip

Abstract
Lipoma is a benign soft tissue neoplasm of mature adipocytes. Lipoma is commonly occurred in large surface area such as body trunk, shoulder, proximal limbs. Lipoma of oral cavity is rare and represent about 1 to 5% of all neoplasm of the oral cavity. The most common subsite of oral cavity lipoma is buccal mucosa followed by lip, tongue, mouth floor. The provided treatment is complete surgical excision. The authors present the case of a patient who underwent surgical excision of lower lip tumor and diagnosed lipoma.
